Words of Wisdom

Last night I was at a wedding and the brides dad (Scoot Phillips) gave a wonderful speech that I thought was filled with perhaps the simplest, but some of the most profound advice for life.

He said that in his lifetime he has made millions of choices, but only three stand out. If he were to die he'd only want people to remember these three decisions that he made in life:

• Making Jesus the Lord of life

• Marrying his wife

• Deciding to have children

He said that although his life hasn't been perfect, because of those three decisions, his life is full. Then he encouraged the newly weds that if they'll do those 3 things with consistency, they'll live a full live.
